This escrow model means sellers get paid quickly and buyers never pay for cards that don't arrive. We handle dispute resolution fairly and transparently.

Stripe Processing

All payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI Level-1 certified processor. Stripe charges approximately 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction, which is included in the above estimates. We never store your card details.

C. Buyer Protections

7-Day Dispute Window

You have 7 days after delivery to report any issue with your order. File a dispute through your purchase dashboard.

Escrow for $500+ Orders

Orders of $500 or more are held in escrow until you confirm receipt. Your payment is not released to the seller until you are satisfied.

What Qualifies for a Refund

  • Card not as described (condition, variant, parallel)
  • Card arrives damaged (with packaging photos)
  • Wrong card shipped
  • Counterfeit or proxy card
  • Card never arrives (tracking shows no delivery within 14 days)

What Does NOT Qualify

  • Buyer's remorse or change of mind
  • Card value decreased after purchase
  • Failure to read listing description/condition
  • Damage caused after delivery

Dispute Resolution Process

Disputes are reviewed within 5 business days. Both buyer and seller submit evidence (photos, tracking, messages). Our team makes a decision based on the evidence. Determinations are final and binding.

D. Seller Protections

Graduated Enforcement

Warning β†’ temporary suspension β†’ permanent ban. We do not issue instant bans except for counterfeit violations. You always get a chance to correct course.

30-Day Appeal Window

If suspended, you have 30 days to submit a written appeal. Appeals are reviewed within 5 business days.

Limited Payout Holds

We never freeze your entire balance. Holds are limited to the disputed transaction amount only. Upon termination, remaining payouts are released after 90 days.

Transparent Seller Rating

Your rating is calculated from actual buyer feedback. Ratings are never hidden or manipulated. You can see exactly how each rating was determined.

E. Data & Privacy

    No payment cards stored. Stripe handles all payment processing. We never see or store your full card numbers.

    Identity verification via Stripe. Seller identity verification is handled entirely by Stripe Connect. We never receive your SSN or government ID.

    1099-K handled by Stripe. Tax reporting for sellers meeting thresholds is managed directly by Stripe. We provide transaction reports in your dashboard.
  • 🚫
    No selling of personal data. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

    Data deletion on request. Contact james@particulatellc.com to request deletion of your account and associated data. We process requests within 30 days.

F. Shipping & Handling Standards

  • Ship within 48 hours of confirmed sale
  • Tracking required for orders $20+
  • Signature confirmation required for orders $250+
  • Penny sleeve + top loader + team bag minimum packaging standard
  • Sellers who skip tracking waive non-delivery dispute protection

G. Prohibited Items & Zero Tolerance

β›” Counterfeit = Instant Permanent Ban

Counterfeit, proxy, or reproduction cards are strictly prohibited. Sellers caught listing counterfeits are permanently banned with no appeal path. We report counterfeit activity to law enforcement and intellectual property holders.

  • Altered or trimmed cards (without disclosure)
  • Tampered graded slabs
  • Fake certification labels
  • Cards not physically in the seller's possession
  • Pre-sale listings for unreleased products
  • Non-BoBA items
